Hi, I didn“t like how the customs field worked and displayed, so I unpublished all groups and all fields, however, they are still showing up on the posts. How can they be removed from the posts.

Thanks

Mauricio
Hey there,

It seems like currently do not have any option to disable it, I will lock this issue into our tracker codebase.

By the way, I already help you use CSS hack to hide that custom field section from listing page -> JoomlaFolder/templates/uber/html/com_easyblog/styles/custom.css

Can you give it a check now is it okay now?

Arlex, I was able to move the custom fields using css. But the layout and since I am not able to have more than one category per post , the custom fields are worthless. As you can see in the posts that I have marked serveral categories, there are several repeated groups of custom fields. the best option would be to have them not appear once the are "unpublish". Please keep me updated when this will take place.

Thanks

Mauricio

Hey there,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

Currently that was not possible to disable it from the custom field page from backend, but we can completely disable custom field section from backend > Easyblog > settings > layout > listing tab/ post option tab > show custom field - NO (I already help you disable it, the custom field section will not show out now)

We will see if we can add one more checking in the future release when disable custom field from backend listing, it should not able to appear on frontend listing page.
