"Remember me" function not working

Hello staff, as in the subject, when a user visits the site after closing the browser, he must login again.
The "remember me" function is not working for anyone.
How can I fix this?

EasySocial does not control the "remember me". Joomla uses cookies to remember the state of the user. The cookie authentication plugin needs to be enabled for it to work

Something has happened in v1.2.10 where the session tokens are not being recognized. This post is another example of the 'invalid token' problem that I identified in another post.

John I just noticed that I had the Authentication - Cookie plugin unpublished.
Now I tried to close the browser and to re open it and I'm still logged. I will wait some time to check if this definitely solved the issue.

I can confirm that is a Joomla issue. After reboot Today I'm still connected!
