I have already reported this issue before but didn't get it fixed. When I go to Profile Edit page the Relationship Status field shows a small "x" mark. To change relationship I have to click that and then it allows me to change. Check ScreenShots attached

Just FYI, it happened since the time I did some changes to .../media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/user/relationship/config/config.json since I wanted to add more Relationship Status, Example: Single Mother, Monk, Nun etc. I restored original file but still the problem persists.

Please help!!
Hello,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Can you download the attachment below and place it inside your /media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/user/relationship/themes/default and see how it goes?

hi Sky Host,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can take a look of this?

By the way, may i know which file are you modified?

this file was modified =>../media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/user/relationship/config/config.json

but even after replacing it with the original the problem persists. I have replicated this problem with a fresh install of joomla.

Hi,

I am sorry for the late reply.
Regarding your first inquiry, I believe this is the default layout of this fields where in order to change the relationship, you need to click "X" button. I have helped you make it more visible by replacing "X" with "Change" and I hope this is what you're trying to achieved here.

Regarding your second inquiry, I have checked your site and it seems the config.json do not have any modified code. Am I missing anything here?

Please advise.

Mohd, I think you didn't read my post properly. I have mentioned that after having this problem I replaced the config.json file with the original config.json file. And I do not agree with you that one has to click on the 'x' to change relationship status?? that 'x' is not even visible. Why do people have to click on that tiny invisible 'x' to change their relationship status?? I tried a fresh install and it is not there. Please help!!

HI,

I am sorry for the misunderstanding.
I apologize as I assume here that you didn't want to click/have that ( x ) button is it? I am sorry as this is the default behaviour of the relationship field in which you need to click that ( x ) button to change the relationship.

By the way, I have helped you change that tiny ( x ) button to ( change ) button so that your user can see it much clearly.

Once again I am sorry for the inconvenience caused and if this is not what you want, can you please tell us more so that we can assist you better.

Please advise.

Hi,

I believe this is a customization and will not be available in the next releases. You need to update this file each time you update EasySocial.

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. Have a nice day.
