I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Regarding with your issue, I noticed this post do not have any tag included right? (screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/eo5p1ZO3D3 ), if that is the thing, that post entry page will not show any related post is because there do not have associated tag with other post.

why it only pulls for one sub/categorie and i have over 10 people posting new articles every day why related post not pulling different one every time you refresh but always stays same post from day 1 i install easyblog?

One of the possibility is the posts do not have associated tag, perhaps you can provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this? (If can provide us one of the post URL which no showing the related post, so we can directly check on that post)
