Sorry for late reply to this,

Now the post option will be inherit from each categories, so what i did is go to your backend > Easyblog > category > Driveclub > Post option tab > Related Posts Limit - 3 && Show Recent Posts By Author - Hide , after you save , you have to clear your Joomla cache, because you have enable the cache plugin from your backend.

Then it should work fine for this category post -> http://www.driverz.club/nieuws/driveclub/entry/driveclub-komt-volgende-week-met-de

Thanks for the update. One thing I don't understand is that I have to adjust the settings in the Categories settings. I had the settings set to 'Inherit from default settings' for each setting. Then I would expect it inherits the settings from Settings > Layout > Post options.

Did you re-save the category? There is a bug in the older version which was carried over to 5.0.16. The settings seems like it's being set to "Inherit from settings" but it actually isn't unless you re-save the category again.

I didn't do that yet. But now I did, but it only partially helped. It still doesn't inherit the 'Show Related Posts' setting. I have set it to 3 in the general settings, but it still shows 5 as set in the Category setting (although it should inherit from the general settings). The 'Show Recent Posts By Author', which didn't inherit before, does inherit now. So that one works now.
