When users register, the user name field sometimes stays red.

This can be a little confusing.

See photo.
Hi there,

Can you try to replace attached file at this path

.../media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/user/joomla_username/themes/default/content.js
.../media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/user/joomla_username/themes/default/content.php

And see how it goes.

Hi there,

Yes it is. I made no change on those files. Maybe you can provide us with steps on how to replicate this on our local. Is it on your backend or frontend? Is it when you try to edit existing user or during registration, and which type of registration that you are using, is it Quick/Full registration? Please advice.

I've tested it on your demo page. What have I done?

I have entered a 4-letter user name. Am then to the password input.

I have now jumped back to the username input and have again entered a word with 4 letters.

Hey chris,

May i know which demo site you test?

Because I did consult with our demo site administrator regarding this, it seems like we haven't update to 2.0.7 latest version yet for our demo site, so from your video I can see that it still show the tooltip for the warning message.

In 2.0.7 version, we already changed this behaviour do not show any tooltip any more from the registration form, this is what I test in my locally with 2.0.7 version, you can check my video here : http://screencast.com/t/r6Uj0LWM

It seems work fine for me, perhaps you can update your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can directly look into your issue?

Nice, but I also use 2.0.7 and have there the same problem. Only stop without tooltip.

I made my video on the official demo page of you.

I can also make you a video of my localhost page. Moment...

So, here is the video of my site with 2.0.7 on localhost.

Exactly the same as with your official demo page.

Hm, I just tried to reproduce this issue internally but I can't seem to replicate this issue. It seems to be working fine for me.

I can not imagine. Because on the official demo page is the same error.

I looked at your video and you only change the last letter.

Enter several times different user-names.

Good idea. Then we'll look tomorrow.

Then we will see if the field has the class=has-error.
