When a user registers via the easy social registration from they have to enter first and last name, but when editing there profile the information for both first and last name is pulled into the "first name" box.

How can i ensure that the information is split out into the correct fields?

Thanks
Hi,

I've verified that the issue is coming from com_emarald. If you were to register, and BEFORE clicking on "offline payment", the user is actually created on the site. You can go to backend and check the user's details to see that the first name and the last name is indeed properly segmented. Some how com_emarald changes the data upon clicking on "offline payment". You will have to consult with the team from com_emarald regarding this.

Hi,

I tested this locally and I am not able to reproduce this. Please provide us your site's access and FTP access so that we can investigate this and provide you with a concrete answer.

Hi,

Hmm I can't seem to log in to your site's backend. Please advise.

Also, which component are you integrating with in regards to the payment subscription section of registration? Could you try disabling, then try registering again to see if it is coming from the payment subscription section.

I have figured out what's going on.

We are changing the users profile type as part of com_emarald to enable us to take advantage of the permissions they provide. I just took a look at doing this manually via easy social and there is a note "Important! All previous custom fields for the user on the previous profile will be lost".

Thanks for your time, i'm going to go ahead and expand upon this functionality to automatically transfer the data across to the required fields.
