Perhaps you can provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a check?

By the way, in the future you can just include your site's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site rather than needing to keep adding them in your replies

It seems like you have set to show mini registration form on your homepage, you can check my attached screenshot below.

I assume you do not want to show the mini registration form on your homepage, so I disabled to show registration form on your homepage.

It should work fine now, can you check again ?

I was thinking quick registration is something like what facebook has. That is you can become a member with just a few fields and then you fill out the rest later?

Ok so I have just added a few fields and tried to register with those fields. I thought it would get me registered but instead it takes me to the main register page. is that how it works?

There are 2 issues here:

1. You did not set the quick registration mode to use quick registration. You need it to be quick, http://take.ms/esX5R

2. The registration is hitting error because you did not include the username field in the quick registration. Hence, it always falls back to the full registration form since there are errors on your quick registration form. I have configured the username field to also appear in the quick registration for your site, http://take.ms/piBlD
