Whenever a new user selects Language: Spanish (espanol) during registration, a 404 error is given upon submission,. The confirmation email is sent normally and the user is able to activate their account from the email. They are able to login using the username and password created during registration. Other than the 404 error, all functionality appears as expected

The only issue appears to be the 404 error. I've successfully tested selecting the other language options during registration without any issues. Please help with eliminating the 404 error.

Thanks,
Hi there,

It will redirected your user to error page because you have not setup your site to multi-lingual site as those option 'Joomla language' is used to identified which language to use after login to your site. In order for them to be accessible without 404 error, you have to setup your EasySocial's frontpage menu for your Spain language as well.

I have created it for you, it should working fine now.

Or if your does not required them to redirect to other language/other language site, you can disable this option on your plugin 'Automatic Language Change' at Backend>Extension>Plugin>System - Language Filter as shown https://screencast.com/t/abTKcY1bE. By the way, i enabled this plugin for you.

Please give it a check and see how it goes.

I see that Backend>Extension>Plugin>System - Language Filter has been enabled, but after testing I don't see that it did anything. I'm getting the exact results as before. Also, you mention that I have to set up EasySocial's frontpage menu for the Spain language as well--I'm not sure what you're referring to here. Do you mean providing the user with language options upon registering? Or something else?

I also see that Backend>Extension>Plugin>System - Language Code is enabled. Did you enable this, as well, when you enabled the System - Language Filter or was it already published?

Please review again and advise. Thanks.

Hi there,

Sorry for confusion above. I have disabled and revert all changes i have made on your site. It seems that i can replicate it now on my end and i have issued this to our developer. This fixes will be included on our next release version. Thanks for your understandings.

Abdul, thanks for looking at this again.

Until the next release, I've created a custom 404 page letting the Spanish language user know to proceed with the registration process by clicking the link in their confirmation email. I think this will work for now, since it appears the user can still register and does receive a confirmation email that allows them to complete the registration process, in spite of 404 glitch.

StackIdeas Team,

I've disabled my custom 404 page relating to the problem of registering with the Spanish language and retested the issue after updating to 2.0.15. The error no longer exists!

Thanks for your help resolving this issue.
