Register/sign in to easy social from Facebook messenger link

Hi there,

We are having trouble with users trying to register for our site when they follow a facebook link share to our site. It seems that the link opens in the facebook native browser and within that browser, when they try to register they are redirected back to the form and the registration doesn't take place.

I'm guessing this is a limitation of the facebook browser (could be wrong).

Is there anyway to rectify this or have the link (or submission) open in an external browser?

Hey James,

Do you mean that when the user clicks your website registration link from the Facebook native mobile app, then it doesn't redirect to the Easysocial registration form?

If I understand wrongly, perhaps you can record a video to us so we can better understand what is your current issue?

Hi Arlex,

Sorry for not replying earlier. I actually haven't been able to recreate the issue on my (or my partners newer) Android phone. I did experience it, but maybe fb have changed their native browser recently (I'm just guessing now...).

We've asked the users who were having the trouble to try and record it for us as well, then we can get to the bottom of it.
