Register Link on Dropdown Menus

The Register link in the toolbar Dropdown menus for EasyBlog, EasyDiscuss, and EasySocial as well as the Komento login box all go to the full registration page (I believe ..../registration is the standard url path setting), but I would prefer the links to go to the quick registration at ......../login on my site.

When I asked this question in April 2014 the only way to change this was to go to(the line numbers may have changed now):

/components/com_easyblog/helpers/helper.php - at line 4975
/components/com_easydiscuss/helpers/helper.php - at line 3777
/components/com_komento/helpers/login.php - at line 51
/components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/toolbar/default.login.php - at line 36

and change the word registration in the code below to whatever path I require (dashboard in my previous query or login in this one):

$link 	= FRoute::registration();


I just wanted to check if this solution is still the case ( not a problem as I can change the code in each file) or if there is a tab in admin available now to make the registration link in the 4 menu items go to the Mini/Quick Registration instead of the full registration page.

I'm sorry but we still don't have the setting to change the registration link to a custom URL. However, you might want to add this as a feature request in our Voices page here: http://www.stackideas.com/voices/easysocial and our developers will get back to you.

I created the feature request here

One additional piece of information for anyone reading this thread:

I created a Guest user group and changed the Guest User Group to "Guest" in Global Configuratiuon (user Configuration) settings.

I added a menu called Login/Register with the EasySocial Login Layout selection (to only show the Quick Registration) and set for Guest Access only. The path to this menu is ..../login-register and changing the 4 files (see first post) from registered to login goes to this path.

I added a menu called Logout with the EasySocial Logout Action and set for Registered Access only. The Logout menu can be left as a main menu or changed to a sub menu of My Account with Dashboard and Profile similar to the main dropdown menu on the Stackideas site.
