Just a low priority 'issue' which might panic a few users....

With REGIONS in the back-end you have COUNTRIES and STATES (great)... if you click STATES on the menu you'd expect (I think) to see all the STATES you've set up... but it defaults to the first country and if there's no states set for that you get the "No States - Do you want to initialise them" message.

So I think when you click STATES on the menu it should show you all states with the filters at the top allowing you to filter by COUNTRY?

Not a big deal but I panicked when I hit states and thought I'd lost everything I'd set up!
Hello Andy,

Ah, okay I understand your issue now. I think it somehow remembered the session state when you created a new country. This will be fixed on the next release.

Hi Mark.

Here's an example:

I'm using REGIONS and set up a Country with 10 States. Then another Country with 5 States.
Then I create a 3rd Country. This time I decided not to add any States for it.

So far, all is good.

I come back the next day to my Admin panel, click REGIONS and then click the sub-menu title STATES..... There I was expecting to see my 15 states. But no, I'm taken to the States for the last Country created.. in this case there's 0 and so it says "NO STATES FOUND" kind of message. Nor is there any way to access the STATES that do exist from that page.

So it's a user experience thing. If you know what you're doing (you have to go to the COUNTRIES menu item, then hover on the COUNTRY and pick the 'SEE STATES' option that appears) then it's fine... but if you don't you think things have gone wrong.

Does that make better sense?!

The solution I think is for the STATES sub-menu item to take you to a page that shows all the STATES that exist, along with a COUNTRY filter included in the filters at the top that already exist.
