Hi,

I need the profile to include country and states. The Regions is setup ok (with my countries and states, changes I made was having a country named Other with no States. Deleted all countries I do not need/not belonging to the Nordics).

But in Profile > Custom fields, I can only add Country and Address. Why not States?

I have address field, but this field does not work (tested in Chrome). Finding adress is ok by location and by entering address. Drop down list contains my address, but when I click it nothing happens?

Here is the webpage:
http://www.bryggeriet.com/en/community.html
(Click the "Register your account today to test the Address field behaviour)

Hope anyone can help!

PS: If I set Country to appear in mini-registration, the country field shows up right on the sign up page?
Hi,

1. The "country" field is actually not part of address field. You do not need the country field for "address" purposes.

2. The address field has 2 modes, either using Google Maps, or the traditional address input. You can configure this by going to backend -> Profile Types -> Select A Profile -> Click on Custom Fields tab -> Click on the "Address" field and configure the option "Use Maps". (Refer to screenshot: https://db.tt/6peVhZJV)

3. It seems like there is a bug that prevents you from selecting an address using the maps mode. I've applied a patch on your site and it is working properly now.

4. Using the Google Maps mode, you actually cannot edit the "parts" of the address because the data are fully returned from Google as a full address. The address already contain all the "segments" of an address including state, country and zip code.

5. If you want the traditional method of inputing address, and only want "state" and "country" to appear, then turn off the "Use Maps", and configure what field you would like to show under the display tab. (Refer to screenshot: https://db.tt/etus1TYW)

6. There is 2 different option for view (Refer to screenshot: https://db.tt/uIlsLBvW). Registration is actually referring to the standard registration page: https://db.tt/m2uGwVX5, while "Mini Registration" is referring to the simplified mini registration view in the dashboard: https://db.tt/jnZpB1qd
