I am still struggling with user registration - Previous question.

So I would like to ask what about Joomla settings. If I want user register via EasySocial so Joomla Users Configuration "Allow User Registration"
should be set to Yes or No. And the following joomla user setting do they matter? Joomla "System - Log" "System - Logout" should be enabled or disabled?

I tried both ways to register new user, but in both ways some errors occurs.

Thank you.
Hi,

Those settings actually doesn't affect EasySocial's registration process.

I tested registering on your site with the username "sisupport" and I seem to be able to successfully complete the registration process. Could you elaborate what error did you encounter?

The error occurs with Registration type "require user activation", when user tries to activate account. He receives email and:

- if he clicks on "activate now", there is page http://www.mydomain.com/login with error: 404 - Component not found (I thought this is something to do with regular joomla login being enabled);

- if he copies activation code into that page http://www.mydomain.com/registration/activation?userid= there are two messages:
1)Thank you! Your account is now activated and you may login with your login credentials.
2)Sorry, the token provided cannot be found.

Hi,

It seems like you have a menu item with the alias "login" that is using a "text separator" type. Is there any reason for this?

I've renamed the alias for the menu item "Prisijungti" to "prisijungti" and the activation is now working properly.

This is because if you have a menu item with the alias "login", EasySocial will use that menu item and expecting it to be a loadable page, but since the item type is "text separator", hence there is no actual page to load.

Oh, thank you! Thought that this is something with joomla registration, but forgot this menu link. I deleted it, now everything works fine. Thanks again
