When someone registers on our site there are currently 2 steps.

- The first step confirms their profile type, confirms the information from the quick registration box and requests gender

- The 2nd step AGAIN confirms their profile type (see attached), that's it - then they click "submit"

Is their away to do away with the redundant 2nd step? It confuses alot of people and they abandon the registration.
You have configured the fields on step 2 to not show up during registrations, this is why you are not seeing anything. Please take a look at my screen shot here, http://screencast.com/t/oV4W1Yl0Y00a

I have enabled them to appear during registrations. Please try again

The second step most likely has custom fields assigned and it is probably not being displayed due to incorrect configuration. I cannot verify this as the access that you provided does not work.

Not sure what you mean here? I have done this for you for the "General" profile type already.

I get that, but if you go to the home page, register with the quick registration in the middle of the screen, keep the Profile Type as "General" on Step 1, choose your gender, then step 2 appears with just the redundant option to change your profile type and nothing else (like the first question/image)in this stream above..

This is because you have disabled it in the "step" as well, http://screencast.com/t/C5glTGjXM8 . I have enabled this for you, can you test this again?
