Hi Stackideas

This is kind of related to this here:

https://stackideas.com/forums/reducing-the-size-of-myphp-database-social-mailer

Did this feature ever get implicated?

Perhaps we should add a settings in 2.0 to auto purge sent items.

Currently my social mails are at 122MB

thanks

Paul
Hello Paul,

This feature isn't added into EasySocial yet but we are planning to add e-mail digest feature in the future versions of EasySocial to avoid having to send tons of e-mails to your users

Hi Mark

I was able to run the MySQL command you suggested last time this happend and have gone down from 500MB to 379MB.
In my case for eg I have never even used this feature.
I send out a welcome mail and that is it.

It seems strange that it eats up space in my MySQL data bank.

all the best

Paul

When notification e-mails are generated, they are stored in the queue pending for the mails to get sent out. Going to the mail activities and clicking on the "Purge Sent" should remove e-mails that are in the queue that was already sent.

This is useful for site owners who wants to review notifications that are sent out
