I am using the Articles App http://stackideas.com/apps/item/8-articles and I love it but I have one problem. It shows fills up the entire dashboard, I mean too many feeds. How can I make it show lesser updates on the dashboard? "Johnny Cash is reading the article - "abcxyz...""

And also whenever I open an article the second time or refresh an article on the site, it shows the post that many times. How can I make it show just once? Everytime I read a post, it shows it on the Easysocial dashboard and its repeated everytime I read the article.
Hi Sky,

I apologized for the previous error. I have apply a new fix for the guest post and the piece of code. Please refer to the attachment. You can test it out and let us know the outcome.

As for the logout preference, you can login to your backend->Components->Easysocial->Settings->Users->Authentication->Logout redirection

Hi Christopher, I see that I can set to show those message ON or OFF in the Application Settings in the backend. But I don't want it to go off completely but just little less frequent. As in, I have read an article in the morning it should post a message saying I am reading the article, that's fine but if I open the same article again after few minutes, it shouldn't post the message again.

Thank you for your time and help Chris, really appreciate it!!

Hi Sky,

I've tested again, It works fine.

Can you login using another user account in your site and read "new test post" article two times and see is if it still appear twice on your stream 's dashboard? -> http://www.meyul.com/newpost

The fix that we apply yesterday will check if the IP address is the same, whenever a logged in user view the same article multiple times, the system will only generated "read article" once in your stream on your dashboard.

Keep us updated.

Thank you so much Chris.. It works perfectly now however there is a small piece of code shown above the article title. It is only visible when I open an article the first time. The second time upon refresh it goes off. Check the screenshot

Please check the screenshot. And one small question: how can I redirect Logout to http://www.mysite.com/connect Right now upon logout it redirects to the site home.
