Redirection to Groups Page Directly From Dashboard

Hi,

Pls. refer attachment. The redirection from Dashboard to Groups page seems like a 2-step process. When a user click on the group link from Dashboard, the Group stream opens up and the user needs to click again on the group link to be able to get to the group page.

What changes should we make so that when a user click a Group link from the dashboard, redirection is automatic to Group's page directly. In summary, reducing 1 click to get to the group's page.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. The entire idea of rendering the group pages on the dashboard is to avoid needing to access the "2nd" step that you have mentioned. This is particularly useful when you want to browse a group that you are in to post an update.

Nevertheless, you can always modify the file /components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/dashboard/sidebar.groups.php and remove those data-dashboard-group-item attributes from the list and that should do the trick.
