Perhaps, I'm accessing the wrong page, can you give us the link to that page? so that we can further checking on this?

If you want to replicate go to gyn.gr log as admin so you can instand post a test post...in the post add an image as attachment and insert the attachment in the body...click post...and log off.....and type https://www.gyn.gr because i use the joomla module... Recent Replies in the main page bellow the registration / login box and is shown only there.

so the html strip is a feature of the mod not an issue then?

Yes this is because to avoid any unclosed tag that might be caused the layout broken
