Hi, I am having a problem with latest blog post module. I am working on a redesign of my site: dev.soulspring.org. On the front page I have LATEST WELLNESS ARTICLES. The module is id#1528 ( currently it is set as latest post by category since I can't get the tags to work). Because I only want to show the sub-category, and only one category tag on each post, I am using the latest blog by tags so I can include all of the tags in a main category without having to list more that one tag in a post.

I put the id's of all the tags in, but what shows are articles from a totally different category.
Hello James,

I don't quite understand you here. Do you want to filter blog posts by tag or category? The login credentials that you have provided isn't working. Can you please edit your post and include the site and ftp access as well?

Yes. Mark, my blogs are set up with two or three tags. ( the primary category and the sub category). I want to post by tags but it is not working. I set up the easyblog module to post by tags, I put in the tags, but then it is not working. The username/login should work now.

Hi there,

It seems that i am bit lost here actually. Did you want to show your module based on tag on your front end? if yes, you have to set your " Module Type" option to "Latest post by tag only".

or did you wanted to show "Latest post by category only" but only one category to shown on each preview? If yes, i have made some modifications on this path .../modules/mod_easybloglatestblogs/tmpl/default_item.php and you have to update/upgrade your Easyblog in order for the fixes to works.

Note:
You have to replace attached file after you have done your update/upgrade as this fixes is not included on EasyBlog version 5.0.42

Please advice.
