Can we achieve toolbar reordering by changing id of an app in database, so for example, Discussion has lower id then videos and goes in front in group toolbar? or each application needs to have the exact id?

It isn't possible to configure this currently but we will be allowing the user to re-order these settings in the near future. The main problem is because of the width of different templates. On certain templates that has a wider layout, it's possible to display all items just fine but for instance, on Udi's site, the width is very limited and when you start displaying more items, it drops down to the next line

As a group works, discussions and announcements are a major part of the communication, more than other functions.
We serve mid-age people, 45+, and usability is number #1 importance.
Any unnecessary click makes them feel it's an old system ... and they prefer not using it.

The main issue we faced in another community component was displaying the discussion uploaded files ...
No one could understand what the actual file is.
That's why we have decided to migrate to easysocial.

there are 2 ways to solve it with minimal efforts:
1. I expanded the row size, but nothing has changed >> eco-4
2. Adding the Discussions list in the sidebar, right after the Announcements >> eco-5

Is it possible?

I have to make a compliment - The migration with hundreds of users, tens groups and a lot of files was very easy and took few minutes to accomplish it.

Thanks for getting back to me on this and thanks for understanding the whole situation here! This is the dilemma that we face on a day to day basis. Site owners who are very understanding like yourself understands the constraints and willing to expand the width of the layout to accommodate those links but there are some site owners who just doesn't want to expand the layout

Anyway, what I could do is to temporarily tweak this for you first but maybe you could let me know which links would you like to have it appear on the header?

Also, could you please set the correct FTP and site access at https://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so that I can work directly on your site?

Regarding the Group menu, it should include the seen labels:
- Timeline
- Members
- Announcements
- Discussions
- Events
- Files
and the rest.

You may avoid menu changing by adding the discussions list in the sidebar like announcements.

If you could add announcements and discussions counters and links to the Statistics, it could help.

Site details are correct.
In order to access I have to define it at the hosting firewall.
