Hi everybody,

I am a fan of stackideas, and I have bought most of your extensions (EasyBlog, EasySocial, Komento). The support is great, the quality is great, the products are great.

But ... unfortunatelly I have bought the extensions all "single" at different dates. So I can´t upgrade with any bundle, because the expiration-times are totally different. Mostly I tried to extend my subscriptions at cyber monday to get any discounts.

Now my EasySocial-License expired and I decidet to wait until the next cyber monday and then switch to the big bundle. For my opinion, it is fair to pay the money for the support, but I don´t see a reason to pay more then the regular prices. And having a cyber-monday-discount has been a regular yearly offer from you.

However, this brings up a lot of problems now.
I tried to update EasySocial not knowing that my subscription expired. No problem ... I just canceled the installation. But unfortunatelly I can´t access any of the ES-Settings anymore, because it always leads into the updating-process, that can´t be completed because my expired subscription.
So I posted a request in the forum to ask, how I can stop ES from trying to update. Unfortunately, the answer I got is not working for me, but in the same moment I can´t answer anymore because the forum is blocked for me because of the expired subscription.

So the result is, I am a customer willing to pay, but somehow stuck in different workflows that are frustrating.

Could you please:

a) Tell me, how I can access EasySocial without making this upgrade?

b) Make me an offer with a fair price to get all my subscription packed togehter in one? Please hae a look at the subscriptions I have and think about a price from now to cyber-monday. This way, I can align all subscriptions to cyber monday and be then in a regular yearly upgrade-process.

If you want you can also make me an offer for the triple-subscription (ES, EB, K) until November 2016. I am sure I want to continue your products for the next years.
But please keep an eye on the fact, that I have an expired ES-subscriptions and valid subscriptions for EB and K.

Do you understand this frustration?

All the best, Julian!

Hi Mark,

I know that Stackideas is a great companie and offers great quality.
So I mentioned that in the begining of my post.

Then I just wanted to give you a feeling about how some things look "from the other side".

All the best, Julian!

Hi Julian,

I am sorry for the late reply.
You can manually install EasySocial through extension manager using an older version of EasySocial.

Hope this help.

It does not work:

1) In the download-process, you only offer "Launchers" to download.
2) By auto-updating, I don´t download the component manually on a regular basis
3) Luckily I had a package in the components-folder. But after installing this (from the folder), the component still runs into the update-mode
4) After this one try, the package is deleted from the folder, so I can´t give it another try.

All the best, J ulian!
