Hello Mark,

as cool the brandnew EasyBlog is, here is another surprising difference after updating to recent version of EasyBlog with Template Bubbles. In both versions of EasyBlog it reads in Backend "Bubbles Version 4.0 updated on 01/05/201"

It used to show the "Read more" with Template Bubbles in a grey box on bottom of article (optionally with hits and comments), but now it shows in articel itself (Please see screenshots "before" and after. Can we have back old view please because, we have the grex box anyway and it take more space if you place "Read more" in an own line in article.

Thank you and best regards, Macjoomla
Seems to be same issue with template "Hako"

Hello Macjoomla,

It's actually done on purpose because there were too many people requesting about having the read more being placed too low. Hence, we have brought the read more up so that visitors could see the button

Hello Mark,

that is a pitty, i was just taking this template because of this feature. I like the line with all in on bottom of articles. I know, its never possible to make it right for every one, but one again, to change used behaviour again like with button to show on frontpage or not is overall not the best idea too! Maybe it would have been a better idea to add another template or let user decide in backend. However thank you for your answer. So how many votes would i need to make this unhappen?

Hello Macjoomla,

Yeah, we are always in a dilemma because in terms of UI, it seems best to have the read more aligned with the rest of the icons. As a matter of fact, we prefer that instead because it is more tidy. However, in terms of user experience, most of the customers who complained has their thoughts about it too because if it was placed at a lower position, then it's more difficult for people to see.

Having said that, adding settings would not really make sense because then, we end up having dozens of "Button appear on top / bottom / middle"

What you could do (which is pretty easy to achieve) is to create a template override for that theme file and place the read more button back to the line that it came from

P/S: Moving forward, we will not be changing the structure of the theme files until we hit 6.x

Yes, because there were a lot of people requesting for that front end toggle so I guess this settings makes sense after all
