HI there, I was a happy Easyblog user, in fact I pretend to renew my subscription soon, but I still need help understanding the best way to config and use Easyblog, but when I tried to find some answers at the forum I get a message to extend my subscription to be able to read that answer, is that really true? I cant even read the answer of a old post if my subscription is not updated? Please tell me I am wrong because I belive this is very frustrating.

With best regards

Hi Bruno,

Thank you for your inquiry. Access to our technical support forum is only open to our active subscribers because this is one of the support features that we offer (apart from our Helpdesk). However, once your license expires, you won't be able to access the technical support board of our forum. You can still have access to our Billing section (including Pre-Sales) but apart from that, you won't be able to view the answer provided.

This is due to the fact that the answer to technical issues are only available to our active subscribers as a part of their 'support license'. Sadly, once your support license expires, you won't be able to view the answer even for your own thread.

I hope you understand that access to our official forum is specifically for our active subscribers. Should you wish to discuss further or to inquire about your issue, you might want to contact our support team via our Helpdesk; they might be able to look into it and assist you according to their good will.

Yep I understand it, this is the "support license" rules, it is fair that you do some limitations to no active member, but I really dont believe this is smart, once you can get more budget if your potential clients can at least access the pass information, so you will spread the idea about how good is your support and also people will be more confidence to buy it or to renew license.

And just to complete the Information, I am trying to access one question I did myself before my license expires.

So I just want to give you a suggestion to rethink this, I believe it will not bring down the company revenue and I really believe it can help to increase it, more projection, more people around, more sales, bigger budget.

With best regards

Hi Bruno,

Thank you for your ideas, feedback and suggestion. I do see your point and I'll forward this idea to our system admin. They'll bring this into their next meeting and perhaps we can find a way to ensure that at least you can access your past inquiries. No promises though, once this idea is forwarded to the team it is completely out of my jurisdiction.

As for your case, have you sent a ticket to our Helpdesk? I believe they can assist you by at least finding your past forum post and provide the solution to you. However, it's already weekend here in Malaysia (currently it's 2:31am on Saturday the 4th of July; yep, I'm a workaholic ) so the response might be a bit slow.

Again, thank you for your kind patience and support.
