Read more/truncation not working on featured/front page post

Hi,
I can't seem to truncate the post on my homepage. I'd like it to have the "read more" button set to truncate the article after the first paragraph please. Many thanks in advance. You guys rock!
You can define the module's truncation settings in the module settings. Take a look at my screen shot here, http://screencast.com/t/lsKrNV40
