Hello,

is there a way to only show the "Read More" button when the content of the blog post was actually shortened?
As far as I see it, you can either switch it on for all Blog-Posts or Switch it off.

I'd like to have a consistent way of showing the user that there's actually more content in a blog-post and that he has to click on the headline or the button in order to access it.
But right now, even if a blog post is just a one-liner, it'll show a "Read More" button, which I find confusing and which I fear will eventually discourage people from actually clicking on the post. (See Screenshot)

Thanks for your support
Hello Jan,

You can configure EasyBlog to only display the read more only when the contents are truly truncated, https://take.ms/Re2Li . However, do take note that even though there is nothing more to read, the user still needs to click on the title or the comment link to view the entry layout to comment.

Hello Mark,

thanks again for the quick support. That's exactly what I was looking for.
Guess I did not look thoroughly enough.

Thanks a bunch.
Issue is resolved.
