Read More after text truncation?

I think this may be do-able, but was wondering...

When I'm on the blog listing page (like a list of posts within a category) and it truncates the text and leaves the "..." after it, is it possible to add a "Read More" right after the "..."?

I'm asking because the Comments and the "Continue Reading" links get pushed down the page due to the facebook like and share buttons which is undesirable.

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is actually a public day off for us here. It is do-able but in terms of UI, I really don't think it looks good at all placing a read more link at the end of the ellipses.

If you really need this, please provide us with the FTP access and I will apply some hacks for you

P/S: I am strongly against this idea because it really makes your blog look really amateur.
