Any help on how I can re-arrange the layout of the easysocial toolbar? Specifically:
- Flip the layout of the search and icons
- Add a home icon
- Add links to the user dropdown menu (for example link to user profile above preferences)
- Make it into a module

I've experimented with the notification module and usermenu but I can't get it to fit what I need.

Also will you be releasing an update as soon as events is done, or will you complete all the tasks and release as 1.3?

Great product though, I've tried around 7 social networking extensions on various platforms and this overall the best and most promising.

Thanks
Hello Zen,

I am not really sure if you can achieve this with purely css codes but I do think that you need to alter the HTML and css for you to achieve this. You can take a look at the theme file /components/com_easysocial/themes/frosty/toolbar/default.php and reposition the icons that you want

By the way, Events would be introduced in 1.3 instead of 1.2 as we are entering a feature freeze mode for 1.2 so we can proceed with proper development on 1.3

Ok I managed to get most of what I needed and am using the ES toolbar in a module. Now how do I hide the normal ES toolbar (above dashboard, profile, etc). Using CSS it ends up hiding both the toolbar and the module. There is an element div.navbar.es-toolbar.wide.has-sides.DS009094473253935575 which hides the right toolbar but the string at the end keeps changing so it doesn't work.

Looking forward to 1.3. You need to create a resource page where we can find designers and developers that are familiar with ES.

Hello,

Thanks! We are actually planning to add a resources page that 3rd party developers can register and you can then browse for these developers for contracts. As for hiding the toolbar in the dashboard, you can find them in the theme settings. Go to Themes > [Select the theme that you use] > Toolbar
