I can't seem to see the Quick Posting Plugin when on a mobile device.

Thank you,
James
Hm, it doesn't hook unto the joomla update system currently as our app store isn't designed for that yet ...

Hey James,

Ah it was intended to be disabled because on mobile devices, that buttons won't fit on small sizes. If you noticed, in 2.1 we actually try to reduce the number of actions user can / should perform on a mobile device.

This is something which we noticed on most apps too. Having too many actions would result into users not doing anything because they aren't focused on what you want them to do

Thanks Mark.

I want to build my mobile view in a clean simple layout. Would it be possible to call the Quick Post somehow on mobile devices through another Module or in my Template? I like the concept of being able to post quickly and from any page.

Thanks,
James

Hey James,

Ah I see. Hm, it's currently a plugin and it's not possible to render them in a module. I think what we could do is to add an option in the plugin settings to have it appear on mobile devices or not.

Thanks Mark, having that option would be nice. I’m working out all of the functionality with this and one other app and then will move onto the design phase.

Because this is a Joomla plug-in, does it integrate with the joomla extension update system so I will know when a new version is released

Thanks
James
