I am pretty sure that I saw a post in here some where related to quick registration. Is there a quick registration process for Easy Social. Or did I imagine it!?!

thanks

Paul
Hi Paul,

It is a module. You can find it through module manager.

Thanks for that. There are sometimes just so many boxes inside boxes that I get confused

Hello,

There's actually 2 ways to achieve this. The first method is to use the module and the second method is to create a menu item which links to the "Login Layout"

Hi Mark

thanks for that. I could imagine that could make sense if I could get rid of the registration stuff at the top of the "Community" page. Please see screen shot. It is all well and good trying to make it easy for people to register but if every second window/module/menu is a registration thingy it might be overkill. Just thinking aloud

best

Hello Paul,

You can easily remove this by editing the file /components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/dashboard/default.guests.php and remove the codes below at line 15,

<?php echo $this->includeTemplate( 'site/dashboard/default.guests.login' ); ?>

Hello, just bumbing this thread because it is not clear to me why with quick registration enabled, the ubiquitous default guest login from dashboard still opens a full registration process, while indeed menu link or module do use the quick one. Do I miss something?
Thanks.

Hi,

Do check the settings at backend -> EasySocial -> Settings -> Registration -> Mini Registration. If the settings is proper, then do provide us your site's access so that we can investigate further.

Hi,
I believe setup is done properly; you can check my test site wanagado.be; click on 'my account' (ES dashboard) and when choosing to register from the dashboard you get the full registration process, whereas when going through the quick module on the right you have the quick one.
Thanks.

Hi,

If you are referring to this section: http://screen.stackideas.com/2014-11-19_1740.png

You will need to go to backend -> EasySocial -> Profile Types -> (Select the profile in accordance the profile set in Settings -> Registration), and under the tab Custom field, you will have to set which field to appear: http://screen.stackideas.com/2014-11-19_1742.png
