Quick question about adding Modules to the EasyDiscuss toolbar

Hey Hey,

I've gota quick question about how i'm surposed to add a module on the, for example, Tag page the Easydiscuss menu or toolbar isn't an actual menu item

make any sence?

i'm trying to add the cloud tag module to the Tag item in the tool bar

Hello Alex,

The only way is for you to create a menu item which links to the tags layout. This is the only way that you can assign modules to appear on specific pages and in your case, I would suggest that you create a menu item in a hidden menu instead.

Hello Alex,

Sorry but I really don't have an idea of what you are trying to achieve here. Do you mean you only want the module to appear on specific pages of EasyDiscuss?

Yeah what i need to do is make the Cloud tag module from easydiscuss display on a specific menu item from easydiscuss the Tags tab,

here: http://clients.storytelling-media.com/v14/Technet33/en/forums/tags

I don't have a main menu item linking to that page, its by default in Easydicuss Toolbar and its not displaying in the module menu assignements.

hmm seems a shame the toolbar isn't a menu kind of like Jomsocials menu toolbar anyhow

Hello Alex,

Tampering with the Joomla menu's is a little problematic and it's always best that you create your own menu's via Joomla's menu manager After all it's actually just the same stuff.
