Quick Post: Tag selection possible?

Hello,

On ACL settings, our frontend users are not allowed to create new tag.
But when they submit Quick Post, there is no way to select from existing tags.

Is this a bug?
Or is there any settings I'm missing?
(v.5.1.8)

Hi Rikao,
Unfortunately there are no tag suggestions in the quickpost form. Previous versions work the same way.

Hi Raymond,

OK, if tag selection is not available in QuickPost forms,
then tag field should not be visible to users who are not allowed to create tags.
It's confusing for users if there is tag field but they cannot use it.

What do you think?

Thanks Rikao, that is correct. If the user is not allowed to create tags, then the form shouldn't appear unless there is a tag suggestion. This is already logged into our internal issue tracker
