Hi -

I'm preparing to upgrade to EB 5.0 (I'm a bit behind, I know).

For my site's purposes, the "composer" U/X is too complicated. The old "microblogging" form would be perfect for our needs but I need for my users to see and complete the 'extra fields' (which are the same for all of my blog categories).

Is it possible to (1) add the 'extra fields' to the quick post template (2) Display a simple WYSIWIG editor there (ie, JCEditor or TinyMCE) & (3) change the "toggle" so that the category, privacy & tags are visible at all times (without having to click on "more options" to see them)?

If these things aren't doable via your (amazing) administrator interface, I'd love to get a quote or recommendation for that customization work.

Thanks,
Cheryl
Hi there,

(1) it not possible to add the extra fields to the quick post template it just need to do customization on it.

(2) in easyblog 5.0 you can change composer editor go to settings -> general -> composer -> composer editor

(3) Sorry but I don't quite get you here, from my understanding easyblog already have this function at menu toolbar and at more setting.

you can sent an email to our marketing side at sales@stackideas.com if you like to get a quote or recommendation for that customization work.

Hope this help.
