Hi everybody,

First and above, I have a simple question: It is possible to create a view in the easysocial profile concerning a third party app ?

I use adsmanager and JS Job.

For instance: User1 posted an ads. when User2 visit User1 profile; User2 can see all ads of User1.

Secondly, I red in your forum a partnership maybe with joomba, JS job or another to add a jobboard app in easysocial. How about this ?

In my opinion, JS job is the most complete about fonctionnalities and the most professional. Also you can customize translation files, it's really easy.

Thank you in advance for your answer,

Best regards,

Tony
Hey Tony,

Yep, it's possible to create such an app. If you look at the Discuss and Blog app for both EasyBlog and EasyDiscuss, they are actually doing something similar.

I think I hit some roadblocks with JSJobs earlier http://stackideas.com/forums/joomla-job-extensions-to-be-compatible-with-easysocial#reply-208075 . There's no way to hook into their API when a job is saved.

I will be trying to see if I can get EasyJobs to be integrated with EasySocial

Hey Mark!

Ok, I am going to take a look to Adsmanager app for easysocial based on easyblog and easydiscuss model.

Ok for JSJobs, I red your link and I understood.
Easyjob sounds good instead of JSJobs, it's a good idea. I hope it will be compatible with Easysocial for my project.

Could you tell me when you will have the result ? I am really interested about this.

Thank you so much for your quick answer.

Best regards,

Tony

Hey Tony,

I will spend some time this weekend if I have the luxury of time, since there's tons of forum posts which I need to attend to By the way, the app will most likely be a paid app instead of a free app though.

No problem, I understand. Take your time.

If I build a good Adsmanager app, I will trying myself with Easyjobs.

I am not a developper but I found out alone how to customize easysocial with template.css and index.php. Also I added a logo in easysocial toolbar "yeeepa". I am really proud about my work.

Thank you so much.

I am disappointed , I don't have skills to build an adsmanager app for Easysocial. It seems so complicate for me.

I red all documentation, I took a look to blog app and discuss app, ... I am not able to make this and to adapt adsmanager like this.

If you have a paid version, I am interested. Also for Easyjobs. Time is money for everybody.

Hi Sam,

Thank you for your answer.

In fact, I had an idea; I use DJclassified, Sobipro and Cobalt8 instead of Adsmanager and JSJobs.
I kept Adsmanager, and I am waiting some quotes by Adsmanager for Easysocial for about an another service on my website.

Have a nice day

Hi Tony,

Thanks for heads up on this one.

About the DJclassified, Sobipro and Cobalt8 and JSJobs, I wonder if they interested in building some apps for EasySocial or not I will ask our marketing department to contact the developer from these 3rd party components and see if we can work something out with them or not.

Thanks again for your feedback and your suggestion.

Have a nice day!

Sam,

DJ classifieds and Cobalt8 are already built for Easysocial apps.

I bought this template https://www.joomla-monster.com/joomla-templates/i/17-classifieds-advertisement/133-jm-job-listings including DJClassifieds for free. Jobseeker can postulate on the job ads.

With Cobalt8, Head hunters can download users' CV/resume in a kind of profile members linked with Easysocial.

Sobipro can already be used for Easysocial with Xtdir for Sobipro and Xtdir for Easysocial
And I can use Sobipro with DJClassified too.

Now, I have to customize and harmonize all the presentation on my template.

Have a nice day too!
