1. What happens when I post a blog-post? Does it create and send a mail, or just create and I need to send it from mailchimp? (can't test, since I have all of my subscribers)

2. It seems the integration does not transfer the name, just the mailadress (see attached)

Could you extend the documentation?

If the Easyblog Mailchimp "Create campaign" setting is enabled, it will automatically create the campaign in Mailchimp and send out the email notification to the subscriber when someone publish a new blog post on the site.

If the Easyblog Mailchimp "Create campaign" setting is disabled, then you have to manually create the campaign from Mailchimp and manually send it.

Do you mean that when someone trying to subscribe to a sitewide subscription from Easyblog, but the subscriber name doesn't show on the Mailchimp subscriber list?

By the way, I did subscribe from your blog sitewide subscription, can you check again and see whether it show my email and name from your Mailchimp subscriber list? (my email address: arlex.wong@stackideas.com)

Great. How does the sent mail look like? Is Mailchimp acting sort of a SMTP for Easyblog's layout?

You can check my attached screenshot below how the email template looks like.

The basic integration that EasyBlog provides, is to link the subscribers on your Mailchimp list so that when the user publish a blog post, it will send the new post email notification to your subscriber who subscribed to the specific list that you configured from the backend.
