it seems still not possible to add a new event without being the first attendee or click attendance option off

You can try clicking on the 'not going' option and this will not count the event creator as an attendee(http://take.ms/Ef9OG).

if you have a cluster album/videoin a page, it does not show in all album view

I believe this has been asked and the team has also discussed this several times. It's just not feasible to include cluster items there as the privacy checking of the cluster and its members will very resource intensive.

if a page, say a public institution is adding an public event, you can't attend, without following this page…

Currently closed and invite only clusters are utilizing this behavior. It would make sense for public clusters to have the same behavior.

this is not really user-friendly to do something on and then click it off, however, who wants to be the person, that actively does not attend all the events…?

Ok, this was an open point and this consequence was not definitely communicated. At the moment you can see a video in a page and there is a button "<- back to the videos". So what would you think would happen, if you click it? I would think, great, going there to see more videos, but what happens? There is no video at all, if all videos are belonging to pages. You can click "all videos" or even the category the just seen video belongs to, but no matter what you click, suddenly there are not any videos on the site…. This is what i call really confusing…

To be honest, I think the feature that you are seeking here is pretty niche but please do post them on our feature request section and if there is enough interest in it, we'll consider it.

What my colleague actually meant was the current behavior for closed and invite only page or group. When an event is created under either of these type of group, the event will automatically be private.

I am asking you to post it as a feature request for the back button so that we may be able to do something about that button in the future rather than disrupting our support flow right now.

As long as the event is part of a group, page, you must be a member of the group or page.

thank you for your answer. For the second point, i don't have a feature request for removing a button. I have same feature request as other users in this two and other threads to show page and group albums and videos in view for all videos. It would not mean all videos, if some videos are not included…

For point one and three, i will think about and are going to post a feature request for some basic functions

Well, that feature request is not going to be implemented because it is impossible to be implemented. If it will, it will hit your server's CPU so hard, that it's going to be unusable so either way, I really do recommend an alternative solution to it.
