Once again, my system is on localhost so hopefully you can simply explain how to change the display setting... I have an upload field on the registration, everything is set so that people can see the image uploaded, but it also displays the filename. I would like to make it so that the filename is no longer visible to anyone (see the attached image).
Hi Rick,
You mean the 'file' custom field(http://take.ms/zbCJO)? If yes, unfortunately, there is no setting to hide the name of the folder. However, if you really want to, you can perform template override on this file: JoomlaFolder/media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/user/file/themes/default/display_content.php
You can use this template override location to protect the file from future updates: JoomlaFolder/templates/protostar/html/com_easysocial/apps/fields/user/file/display_content.php
