I see this on the list for the next release (yay!). This is a small part of the "block user" functionality that has been requested, and everything is a good start. Will this be something included in he JomSocial migration tool to carry over from the locked user list in JomSocial?

Will future "block" restrictions leverage this same definition by user, or will that have to be applied separately? For example, when a user is blocked it should disable not just the feed, bu the ability to send messages, see the "About" information, etc. So when this further block ability is added, will it attach to the exisiting users people have hidden their feeds from?
Hello Beth,

Our migrator currently does not migrate the blocked list from JomSocial yet but we could probably add this after the beta. The blocking of user's feed doesn't really block the user in general so it's not really the same as blocking a user in JomSocial. What we have currently in 1.2 is the ability to hide streams from specific users.

Just from admin feedback - I am trying to find the quickest path to converting from JomSocial, and the blocked user list is unfortunately one of the major blockers still in place after 1.2 is released. This is part of it, and i am very happy to see it now included. Please consider allowing these kinds of "block" or "hide" functions to be defined from the JomSocial blocked user list at migration. That would mean a lot less "go in and fix it manually" for users at conversion.

Thanks for listening! Keep up the great work.
