Hi,

I use moderation for group and I find something strange.
When I create agroup, I need administrator approve -> ok !
But when I want update a group, I need to approve a second time this group. And while the goup is not approved, it is not accessible.
I don't understand why ?
How can I change that ?

Thank you,
Hi L'Eclaireur,

Currently it is not possible for group owner to edit their group that is under moderation to submit a second time for approval.

Since this a new feature, feel free to present your idea at EasySocial's feature requests category if there isn't one already.

This can expose others to the idea and allow the developers to easily keep track of feature requests on the forum.

Hi,

I don't know if you have understand my issue.

So:
1 - I create a group
2 - My group is approved by administrator
3 - I update group informations

4 - With easysocial 2.0 -> update is ok
With easysocial 2.1 -> update need adminstrator approvement (see https://snag.gy/l3e7KO.jpg) and group disappears while administrator have not re-approved.

I prefere the solution of easysocial 2.0, when I update group informations, no approvement is requiered.

Thank you

My apologies for the misunderstanding.

I have checked the behavior and it is working as you mentioned.

The reason why we enforce moderation during update is because there are cases where the cluster creator uses nice title/description etc when submitting for creation, then proceeds to change them to a completely different thing entirely once the cluster is approved.

In other words, there is no point to enable moderation during creation if the creator can freely change the cluster info after that.
