Quest about ffmpeg encoder

Hi guys, I am trying to setup the encoder to upload music and videos files on my site. Do I need to install php-ffmpeg on the server for it to work> Currently I am using debian server and I am looking to switch to ubunto if indeed I need php-ffmpeg. Please advise.

Hey Robert,

To be frank with you, I am not familiar debian server stuff, but I would suggest you consult with your webhosting provider regarding this first is because they should know more about this how to install ffmpeg on debian server.

Another thing is you have to install ffmpeg at least 2.8.x version or above, because this is Easysocial minimum requirement.
