Hello,

I'd like to ask you for my quality issue of post covers. E.g. attached you see my original *.jpg but if it's used as a post cover the quality is less than the original one. The link to the post is in the hidden area for your support. Thanks for your support.
Hey Horst,
You're most welcome.
To answer your question, the reason the quality of the image was low is because of the picture size setting.

The crop function just determines the height and width of the post cover in those pages.

Hi Horst,
The post cover settings can be configured at Settings>Layout>Post Covers(http://take.ms/WGpsO).
The ../infos-news/artikel-in-der-rheinpfalz page uses entry layout so the post cover settings under entry layout applies here. The cropping function basically just set a definite width and height for the image. You can enable or disable it if you want.
The ../infos-news page uses listings layout.
I have helped you changed the picture size to original size for entry and listing layout.

Hi Raymond,

Thanks for your support. This means the cropping function is the reason why the quality of the jpg-file is worse than the original?
