Hi amazing Stackideas team

Please, if I set my site home menu to "easyblog frontpage" so the blog frontpage is on http://yoursite.com, how can I create a custom url structure that is specifically "http://www.yoursite.com/blog/title".

I have seen the custom url option but it puts unwanted stuff before the customizable part, like "http://yoursite.com/menu/view/ custom / title"

Thanks!
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Unfortunately that is not possible to achieve this if your site set this "easyblog frontpage" menu item as default homepage.

Perhaps you can try this suggestion and see if you okay with it?

1. Create either Magazine menu layout or Grid menu layout and set this as default homepage

2. Create "Easyblog frontpage" menu layout then assign to above menu layout parent menu, mean this "Easyblog frontpage" is a child menu item.

Thanks Arlex. Could I achieve the same thing by:

- Setting the website homepage (http://www.yourpage.com) to Easyblog Magazine or Grid layout so that it looks good, as you recommend.

- Creating a hidden menu with the menu item "/blog" and setting it as the "Easyblog Frontpage".

I think this would create the URL structure "http://www.yourpage.com/blog/title" but without a visible "Blog" main menu item or menu child.

Did I get it right?

I think this would create the URL structure "http://www.yourpage.com/blog/title" but without a visible "Blog" main menu item or menu child.

Hm, it seems like not possible to achieve this if you do not want to show this "blog" menu item as child menu.

What do you think this way?

1. If you would like to show some interest blog post on your site homepage, i would suggest you to show some module on the homepage.

2. So you can create a hidden menu item for this menu structure :
- Magazine menu item
|_ Blog frontend menu item (child menu)

Then create another new menu item (Menu Item Alias https://take.ms/bu01Q ) then select Magazine menu item under this menu item alias type, this menu should display on your menu bar.
