Hello,

I have entered the settings, in EB, of my Apps etc created on OneSignal site. What else do I need to do? How the users subscribe to the Push notifications? Is there a setting for the users to subscribe / unsubscribe in the EB front end?

Regards,
Imran
HI there,

It is working fine on my end as you can see here http://take.ms/HSSab and http://take.ms/3q9LN

BTW, what sort of items are sent via the notification by EB?

It will push notifications to those subscriber if there are any new blog made on the site.

Please advice.

Hi there,

Once user visit this url--> https://space.watch/space it will shown you this pop-up box like this http://take.ms/pobih. But currently it seems that it is working only for Safari browser and not on Firefox and Chrome browser. It would be best if you can provide us with your Onesignal account for further check on this issues.

Please advice

Hi there,

After checking this on your site, it seems that you havent fully setup your Onesignal for your Easyblog as currently your site is using HTTPS and you need to do few more steps to make sure it is working as it should as you can see here https://documentation.onesignal.com/docs/web-push-sdk-setup-https .

Please give it a try and see how it goes

Hi,

Done that and now its displaying the notification icon on the bottom right corner but doesn't do anything when clicked? I tested it on Google Chrome browser.

Note: I have also added the Safari App details within the <script>.

Imran

Hi there,

It seems that there are permission issues on both your OneSignalSDKWorker.js and OneSignalSDKUpdaterWorker.js files. I have set it to public and it should be working fine now. Please give it a check and see how it goes

Hi,

I tested on different systems & browsers but it seems it still not working? I did not even once get this https://monosnap.com/file/VwPermk3Pc9DCLKcDaSMarug4QG584

in the safari browser even though the notifications have been enabled in both the Safari & Chrome browsers on Desktop PC, Android smartphone & Tablet PCs?

BTW, what sort of items are sent via the notification by EB?

Update:

I got the technical support from OneSignal and they informed that the browser Safari on Windows is not supported that's why.

BTW, what sort of items or what triggers the notifications via the notification system by EB?

Regards,
Imran
