Public vs. Private Events

I would like to have our ES locked down in general only for viewing by registered users. However, I would like the details of events of certain groups freely available for public viewing.
Ideally, I would like the access to be driven by a group category if that is possible
Hi Todd,

ES in lockdown mode means that all EasySocial pages can only be access when the user is logged in.

If that's the case, it is not possible to have some events viewable for non-logged in users.

For group events, the event type will always follow the group. So private group can only create private events etc.
