First you have check with your discussion category is it allow public user can view the discussion. if you already set it, the public user still can't able to view the discussion, is it possible provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this? Please advise.

yes,its public. This functionality is working on dev (test site) but not on live site. Please check ?

Yes, i can reproduce this issues from your site, is it possible provide us with your FTP access as well? Because I need to modify some of the file and debugging on this.

If its fine with you could you let me know the changes with file name so that I will go head and do the changes. Providing live site site FTP details is bit difficult for me..

it seems like you are using the older version of Easydiscuss, so unable to click save button from the Easydiscuss frontpage layout. Can you try download my attachment file and replace in
JoomlaFolder\administrator\components\com_easydiscuss\elements\fields\modal\categories.php
JoomlaFolder\components\com_easydiscuss\views\index\tmpl\default.xml

what my suspect is your Easydiscuss menu item only allow registered user access, so when the public user trying to access Easydiscuss page then it will not available. Can you try change to public access and see is it solve this issues? Please advise.
