I Couldn'nt manage it to display all questions for the public (guests, people who are not logged in). But I managed this by changing some values in the database.

In the table '##__discuss_category' change the values in the column 'private' from 2 to 0. After that the categories are viewable in the front-end for the public.
I could not find this option in the backand of EasyDiscuss; of did i miss omething... ?!?

Yes, you wouldn't need to manage it from your database table, you can configure from your backend > Easydiscuss > setting > categories > select the categories > Click "Permission" tab >
Add the public user group/ guest user group in this section "who can view this discussion in this category", see my screenshot ( http://screencast.com/t/Ahr3nQnaZQh )

This aint true. I tried that. I tried selecting everyone (check every checkbox) and click save; empty caches etc. --> nothing. Then unselect everyone (uncheck every checkbox), save, clean the caches, and retry selecting everyone; etc. It keeps hiding the questions for guests...
