Hi..In my category permissions I have it set for the public to be able to see replies when on the front end it is not working as such.

Did I miss a setting somewhere or is there something wrong?
Hello Neil Belliveau,

Could you mind provide us with a temporary access to your Joomla backend (as admin) and an FTP access so we can check that issue and see where the problem is coming from? Please advise.

Hello Neil Belliveau,

I have checked in your ""categories permission setting http://screencast.com/t/HMQNbkXkkEZ , it seems like the public user group doesn't add in the "Who can view the reply in this category". When i help you added the public user group, then the public user can view the reply from this category. Hope this help.
