Hi guys,

Just curious if it is possible to select the proximity (ES - > General Settings -> Location -> Proximity Search) based on the site/user language.

To clarify, the majority of the world uses the metric system, while the US doesn't. Generally it will not be an issue as traffic most likely be local/national based so if i choose Miles/KM, it wouldn't affect my site visitors, the issue arises when I have international traffic (say even from Canada) they will get all messed up trying to figure out the distances.

My suggestion, offer another option to select the location based on the language used, so if a user's language is anything other than en-US use the KM.

I believe this will allow sites that are multilingual and international have a better user experience.

What are your thoughts?
Hello Chaim,

I am really sorry but unfortunately it is not possible to achieve this currently but it certainly does seem like a good idea. Perhaps you should try submitting your feature requests at http://stackideas.com/voices/easysocial
