Hi,
Do you have a tutorial on how to go about setting up a Joomla backend admin that only has access to properly managing blogs with EasyBlog ?

Re: manage blogs, his/her profile ?

On that note; do you have the equivalent for doing this in the Front-End ?

Thanks
Danny
Hello Danny,

Firstly, I wouldn't reckon you to allow authors to login to the back end. It's not ideal for them as it's going to be a little confusing. I would strongly advise to get them to use it on the front end instead.

Then, under EasyBlog > ACL, you could give them the appropriate rights.

Hi Mark,
This was the plan.
Which raises question 2; do you have a tutorial on this (re: frontend author setup) ?
Thanks
Danny

Hello Danny,

You can read more about the ACL in EasyBlog at https://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/access-control
