at one point i could set profiles for people and have a lot of useful info in there. now even though UPLOAD AVATAR is turned on, there is no option in the profile field to do this.

what do i need to check? i've tried different themes but all have the same lack of profile info.

Hi Jerry,
Make sure you have author avatar enabled and the avatar source set to default(http://take.ms/gvehV). This, along with the enabled ACL should allow the user to edit their EasyBlog profile avatar(http://take.ms/WFcCH).
If you are still experiencing issues, can you provide your backend and ftp access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so I can investigate this?
Let us know, thanks.

it's enabled and ACL allows for author. i'm superuser and i can only change my avatar in the backend, not in my profile. just my entire bio section seems vague and of not much interest.

Hey Jerry,
It seems your template's styling is causing the account settings to be invisible(https://www.screencast.com/t/PUFFw1vctgq4).
I have helped you apply some custom css to overcome the conflict in your custom css file(http://take.ms/zvoKW).
The account settings in the frontend should be displaying properly now(http://take.ms/QR94N).
Check it out and let us know how it goes. Thanks.

ok - i log in as me and my avatar shows up (put it up in the back end, never tried the front end til writers came on board recently!) and i still see:

Account

Basic settings for your account

and no fields and that's it.

Hey Jerry,

I have tested this again on several browsers and the basic account settings is displaying fine(https://www.screencast.com/t/aCDFaVcxBWWP).

Can you trying clearing your site and browser cache again and see how it goes?

If the issue persists, can you tell us which browser you used and provide your user account access so we can check? Thanks.
